Not only did the book receive a glowing review, but it was also awarded a Star. The Kirkus Star is “one of the most coveted designations in the book industry and marks books of exceptional merit.” A Star review also makes Dog on Course eligible for the $50,000 Kirkus Prize. Hey, one can hope.
